THE TOYFREIGHT COLLECTION

Remote Control

Remote control cars, boats, aircraft and other RC products. A useful buying brief includes control system, battery configuration, charging method, runtime and destination-market requirements.

ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Specify the drivetrain before you compare the price.

The RC line runs from compact desktop cars to larger trucks, plus RC boats, aircraft, stunt cars and engineering vehicles. Control systems include radio and infrared options; battery and charging arrangements vary. Confirm scale, operating frequency, battery chemistry and included charging equipment on the selected model.

RC is the category where quotations are easiest to compare incorrectly. The same body can be supplied with a brushed or brushless motor, different battery capacity and different charger, so the specification sheet—not the photo—is the real product.

SPECIFICATION CHECKLIST

Confirm these details.
Then compare the price.

These are the variables that make two look-alike models different goods. Fix them in writing before the purchase order.

Scale and type

1:64, 1:24, 1:16, 1:10 and others, and whether it ships ready-to-run.

Control system

Radio frequency or infrared, pairing method, available channels and tested simultaneous-use capability.

Performance

Motor type, top speed and control distance.

Batteries

Vehicle and transmitter chemistry, capacity (mAh) and inclusion.

Charging

USB, balance charger or transmitter charge, plus stated runtime.

Spares

Bodies, tyres, batteries and chargers available for repeat orders.

COMPLIANCE BY MARKET

Documents follow
the exact model.

Check that reports cover the selected model, configuration and production site. Review material, colour, component, site and artwork changes for their compliance impact; update documents or repeat affected tests where needed. A category name does not establish compliance.

Radio

Review applicable FCC requirements for US radio models and RED for EU radio models. Infrared control is not radio transmission; electronic circuitry may still have EMC requirements.

Lithium

Request the UN 38.3 test summary for the fitted cell or battery and confirm packaging, documentation and carrier acceptance for the chosen transport mode.

Toy safety

Applicable toy safety and electrical safety requirements are reviewed alongside radio and battery documentation.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Before we get started.

What is the MOQ for RC cars?

Three export cartons per SKU. Compare the chosen scale and retail pack by unit price, pieces per carton and carton volume. Larger trucks can require more freight space per unit; your quotation states the actual packing figures.

Do the cars include batteries?

Inclusion varies by model and order configuration. Confirm vehicle and transmitter batteries separately, including chemistry, capacity and quantity, and whether the box contains a charging cable, charger or neither.

Can several cars run together without interference?

Simultaneous use depends on the exact control protocol, pairing and available channels. Many paired 2.4 GHz systems support several cars, but frequency alone is no guarantee; some infrared systems also offer selectable channels. Tell us how many units must operate together so the selected model can be tested.

What documents come with 2.4 GHz models?

Available FCC documentation for the US and RED-related documentation for Europe, the toy safety report and UN38.3 for the lithium pack where fitted, all checked against the exact model.
