THE TOYFREIGHT COLLECTION

Baby & Early Years

Rattles, sensory toys, playmats and early activity products, organised for infant and toddler ranges. Confirm the intended age, materials, small-parts assessment and packaging before ordering.

ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Infant and toddler ranges, graded before they are priced.

The Baby & Early Years line covers rattles and teether sets, sensory pull-string toys, cloth books, tummy-time and crawling toys, baby walkers, crib mobiles, activity cubes and play mats. The collection includes different age positions; suitability for a newborn or toddler must be established for the selected model. Confirm the actual plastic, silicone and fabric components against its specification.

Age grading starts with the product's design, play pattern and intended user. The label must reflect that assessment: adding a 3+ warning does not make a toy intended for under-threes suitable for older-child classification. Agree the age grade, testing and warnings before printing artwork.

SPECIFICATION CHECKLIST

Confirm these details.
Then compare the price.

These are the variables that make two look-alike models different goods. Fix them in writing before the purchase order.

Age grading

Assessed intended age, matching label and small-parts assessment, including parts released during use-and-abuse testing.

Materials

ABS, PP, silicone or fabric; confirm paint or coating on any decorated parts.

Sound and cords

Rattle sound level and pull-cord or strap length, where strangulation limits apply.

Cleaning and power

Approved cleaning method and any temperature limit; battery format for light-and-sound models. Do not assume a product can be sterilised.

Pack and print

Colour box, blister card or hang tag, insert type and printed languages.

Carton data

Pieces per export carton, dimensions and whether walkers ship knocked down.

COMPLIANCE BY MARKET

Documents follow
the exact model.

Check that reports cover the selected model, configuration and production site. Review material, colour, component, site and artwork changes for their compliance impact; update documents or repeat affected tests where needed. A category name does not establish compliance.

United States

Applicable ASTM F963 and CPSIA requirements, with model-specific testing and a CPC issued by the US importer for imported children's toys.

European Union

Applicable EN 71 requirements, including small-parts checks for toys intended for under-threes, plus the documentation supporting CE marking.

Changes after testing

Review changes to materials, colourants, components, production site or artwork; update documents and repeat affected tests where required.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Before we get started.

What is the minimum order for baby toys?

Three export cartons per SKU. Pieces per carton vary by model: compact rattles and bulkier walkers have different packing volumes. Your quotation confirms the actual carton quantity and dimensions. Different SKUs can share a container.

Which items are suitable from birth?

Suitability from birth is model specific. A 3M+ product is not a from-birth product, and a collection name or photograph does not establish the intended age. Ask for the assessed age grade, instructions and matching reports for each selected item.

Can you print our brand on baby toy packaging?

Yes. Colour boxes, blister cards and hang tags can be produced from AI or PDF artwork, and inserts can be printed in English, Spanish or other languages. MOQ and plate costs are quoted for the final design.

What documents do US importers usually request?

The ASTM F963 third-party report for the exact model, CPSIA lead and phthalate results and the CPC. We provide available model-specific documents; the importer issues the CPC in its own name.
